Nel 1970, Peter Bardens firma per la Transatlantic e registra il suo album di debutto da solista ""The Answer"" con Bruce Thomas, il chitarrista Andy Gee e Reg Isadore alla batteria, oltre a un non accreditato Peter Green ospite alla chitarra. Questa antologia rimasterizzata in due CD riunisce tutto il materiale per la Transatlantic Records (inclusa la versione in studio di ‘Long Ago, Far Away’ realizzata durante la registrazione di “The Answer”), ambedue i lati del raro singolo ‘Man in the Moon’/’Long Time Coming’ (1969) dei Village – progetto antecedente al debutto solista - e il singolo ‘Homage to the God of Light’ (1971).
