One of the best comebacks of all-time, Comus keep their legacy fully intact with this simply stunning brand new release. The three new tracks that make up side one are the perfect continuation from the monumental 1971 acid-folk masterpiece, First Utterance.

 

 

Side two features a holy grail archive recording that should have been part of the follow-up to FU. Yes, finally seeing the light of day is the only known existing audio recording of the Malgaard Suite (part one), which was originally intended to be recorded for Dawn Records in the early 70's. The story is documented here with an introduction by Roger Wootton, who has also provided fantastic new cover art with a classic vibe.

 

 

Sharing the bill are Fusion Orchestra 2 featuring members of the original band that released the 1973 classic Skeleton in Armour. Also on the bill as a treat are the fantastic Purson.
