Composto da due CD e volto ad esplorare la parte più cinematica ed orchestrale dei Cradle of Filth, “Midnight in the Labyrinth” è l’ultimo lavoro della EXTREME METAL band inglese. Il primo disco contiene le narrazioni d’accompagnamento ai brani di Dani Filth e Sarah Jezebel Deva, mentre il secondo è composto dalla parte orchestrale e sinfonica. Scegliendo fra i brani più famosi estratti dai primi quattro album, la band ha reso felici i propri fan ed ha soddisfatto le loro richieste con un lavoro che attinge dai pezzi più vecchi e più richiesti qui ri-arrangiati per creare un paesaggio sonoro orchestrale come quello delle colonne sonore realizzate da compositori quali Jerry Goldsmith, Danny Elfman e Hans Zimmer.
